Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent
  • Must be amenable to work on Night shift
  • Must be amenable to work in Makati City
  • Must be amenable to work in a hybrid setup (2x a week onsite)
  • Has at least 4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
  • Strong knowledge of Software QA methodologies preferably Agile methodology, tools, and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases in TestRail/Zephyr/Practitest
  • Experience in executing test cases in TestRail/Zephyr/Practitest
  • Experience in managing bugs in Jira
  • Experience in managing user stories in Jira
  • Web application testing
  • API testing
  • UI Manual testing
  • Experience in HTML to learn accessibility testing

Other Qualifications (nice-to-have/advantage):

  • Basic Test Automation and Software Testing Knowledge, specifically in the following tools: Ready API, SOAP UI Pro, CA DevTest
  • Agile Methodology experience
  • Card / Transaction / Payments processing experience is a plus
  • Experience leading a team is a plus

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Analyze requirements from client
  • Will work on the assigned user stories in Jira
  • Create test plan and test cases in TestRail
  • Report and manage bugs in Jira
  • Will work side by side with the Team's Automation Developer
  • Will attend all the Agile events – Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retro and PI planning
  • Will create daily test status report
  • Will coordinate with the Test Lead on tasks progress, issues, and blockers
