Software Test Analyst

Schedule: 7 am to 4 am PHT

Location: Remote (Australia-based) |

Type: Full-time | Permanent

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Skills:

  • ISTQB Foundation Certification (minimum)
  • Proven experience in software testing within Agile environments
  • Strong skills in:
  • Risk-based testing strategies
  • Manual testing of both functional and non-functional requirements
  • RESTful API testing (e.g., Postman)
  • SQL querying and data validation for back-end testing
  • Mobile testing (iOS and Android native apps)
  • Understanding of white-box and black-box testing approaches
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Familiarity with UAT processes and working closely with end users
  • Exposure to automation testing frameworks and test case traceability
  • Knowledge of testing standards and experience improving QA processes
  • Strong focus on system-wide impact and defect prevention

What You'll Do

As a Software Test Analyst, you'll work within the Customer Innovation & Success team to ensure high-quality software delivery and a seamless user experience across multiple platforms. You'll be involved throughout the development lifecycle and play a key role in delivering quality software solutions.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Interpret business requirements to design comprehensive, risk-based test cases
  • Execute manual test scenarios covering both positive and negative paths, edge cases, UI compliance, and non-automated scenarios
  • Log and document clear, reproducible defects and maintain detailed test records
  • Collaborate with business analysts and developers to clarify requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage
  • Participate in UAT and assist in validating release readiness
  • Support the automation team by identifying impacted areas and supporting proactive test updates
  • Ensure test data accuracy and clear separation of preconditions, test actions, and expected results
  • Contribute to continuous QA improvement initiatives by recommending new frameworks, identifying bottlenecks, and driving efficiencies
  • Apply the Work Management Standard and contribute to a culture of quality, performance, and user-centric delivery
