Job Description: Technical Assistant

  • Reporting to the Technical Superintendent

QUALIFICATION

  • Assistant with experience with proven hands on experience with repairs and maintenance especially on ME, AE and other machineries
  • At least one (1) year worked for ship management company as Technical Superintendent

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Assist Technical Superintendent on the implementation of Technical Department functions.
  • Implementation of the Planned Maintenance Service, Damage and Defects, Dry Docking and Repairs, Vessel Inspection, Certification and Classification Surveys, Budget Control, Supplier Evaluation, Purchase Control, Control of Customer Property and Reporting and Performance Monitoring.
  • Providing corrective/preventive measures for technical accidents or nonconformity
  • Providing technical data and research; and
  • Assist to supervise Technical Department functions
  • Investigating KPI of the concerned company's objectives and targets
  • Other works as instructed by Technical Superintendent
