HR Supervisor

Key Responsibilities
- Employee relations: Serve as a liaison between employees and management, resolving internal conflicts, addressing complaints, and providing guidance on company policies.
- Recruitment and onboarding: Lead and manage the hiring process from start to finish. This includes posting job openings, coordinating with hiring managers, conducting interviews, and ensuring a smooth and effective onboarding process for new hires.
- Performance management: Support and guide managers in evaluating employee performance. This includes scheduling performance reviews, processing performance appraisal forms, and helping develop performance improvement plans.
- Training and development: Organize and coordinate training programs for employees. This involves running orientation sessions for new hires, arranging refresher courses for existing staff, and evaluating training effectiveness.
- Compensation and benefits: Oversee and administer compensation and benefits programs. Tasks include monitoring payroll processing, managing timekeeping, and assisting with annual open enrollment.
- Compliance and policy enforcement: Ensure the company's HR practices adhere to both internal policies and external labor laws and regulations. This also involves preparing and updating HR policies and handling disciplinary actions when needed.
- Administrative tasks: Manage important HR data and paperwork. This includes maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring proper filing and record-keeping procedures are followed.
- Leadership and communication: Must be able to supervise and mentor HR staff while also communicating clearly and effectively with employees at all levels.
- Conflict resolution: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills are necessary for handling sensitive employee relations issues and mediating conflicts.
- Technical proficiency: Expertise in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and other related software is needed to manage employee data and streamline HR processes.
- Strong ethics: Handling sensitive and confidential employee information requires a high degree of tact, professionalism, and integrity.
Qualifications:
· Graduate of any 4-year course is preferred but not required
· Must possess 3 years of relevant HR supervisory experience or background is required
· Minimum 3 years' experience in FMCG, Retail, or warehouse operations is required
· The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, ability to work effectively with warehouse staff, logistics teams, and external partners, and internal stakeholder
· Strong analytical abilities to interpret data, anticipate logistical challenges, and develop effective solutions
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with various stakeholders and or clients
· Strong leadership and team management skills and abilities
· Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage complex schedules and time-sensitive logistics shipments
· Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and retail operations in the FMCG industry is a must.
· Must possess proficiency in Microsoft applications e.g., excel, power point and others
