Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for safeguarding the accounting system for a timely and reliable reporting of company financial results of operation.
  • Maintains General Ledger and ensures subsidiary ledgers are reconciled with the GL, and schedules are complete and accurate (ie AR, AP, Inventory, and Accruals). Journal Vouchers are properly posted.
  • Approves petty cash disbursements and sees to it that all expenses are authorized.
  • Ensures collections/remittances both by van and booking salesmen are deposited intact daily in the bank and any postdated checks are monitored and controlled
  • Maintain effective warehouse management and proper inventory control.
