The Financial Controller oversees all financial operations within their assigned portfolio, serving as a key member of the finance leadership team and a senior regional leader. This role is responsible for ensuring robust financial controls, efficient operational processes, and compliance across all financial activities. ResponsibilitiesMaintain and enforce compliance with business and financial accounting policies.

Consolidate monthly financial results across all business units and prepare comprehensive management accounts and statistical reports for senior leadership. Review and prepare detailed balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data. Deliver regular KPI reporting and performance analytics to support strategic decision-making.

Lead the annual cost budgeting process and collaborate with business units to produce accurate forecasts and promote budget accountability. Drive finance transformation initiatives focused on improving productivity, efficiency, and internal controls. Prepare and present ad-hoc management reporting packs to senior stakeholders.

Maintain and oversee the company's delegation of authority framework. Manage indirect tax compliance and ensure timely submission of statutory filings. Oversee Accounts Receivable processes and support effective debt recovery strategies.

Skills and ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in a Financial Controller or similar senior finance role. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop both local and offshore finance teams. CA or CPA qualified.

Strong background in financial reporting and management accounting. In-depth knowledge of AASB, IFRS, and ASIC reporting standards. Solid understanding of Australian and Philippine taxation laws, including PAYG, FBT, GST, payroll, and income tax.

Proven track record in process improvement and financial control management. Behaviors:Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively. Confident in leading teams and collaborating with executive stakeholders.

Strong analytical thinking and interpersonal communication skills. High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Demonstrates alignment with Ideagen's core values.
