Payroll Coordinator
Hybrid Set-up | Full-Time
Join our Global Finance team as a Payroll Coordinator and play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate, timely, and confidential processing of payroll for all employees, including expatriates and consultants. You will collect data, calculate compensation and deductions, remit payroll taxes, and prepare payroll registers while maintaining meticulous records and collaborating with HR and Benefits departments.
What We're Looking For
Professional Experience
- Experience: 2+ years of global payroll processing experience in multinational companies or global shared services.
- Skills: Highly proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), Word, and Outlook. Experience with Workday and ADP systems (Vantage HCM, iReports, ADP Reporting, ADP GL) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to articulate payroll procedures to management.
- Integrity: Strong ethics and a high level of personal and professional integrity.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime during payroll processing weeks and meet tight deadlines.
- Must be amenable to be assigned to any shift; amenable to a hybrid work set-up (3 days onsite per week).
Education
- Bachelor's degree graduate, Accounting graduate is a plus
Skills and Tools
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Familiarity with Kronos Time & Attendance System is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees, including expatriates on split pay and consultants in local offices.
- Review overtime schedules prepared by the team and upload to the database.
- Calculate pro-rated salary for new hires, terminations, and employees on leave.
- Maintain files for employee banking, tax forms, and payroll backup information.
- Audit data changes in payroll output reports, research system errors, and make corrections as needed in the payroll database.
- Review payroll status reports, including scheduled and retroactive payroll deductions, and communicate with HR and Benefits departments as required.
- Respond to payroll inquiries from office administrators and other department managers.
- Prepare the payroll funding schedule for Treasury and distribute payroll reports to Accounting.
