DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Assist pharmacists in the preparation, dispensing, and distribution of medications to patients and hospital wards.
  2. Receive, review, and process medication requests and prescriptions accurately.
  3. Maintain proper storage, labeling, and inventory of medicines and medical supplies.
  4. Monitor stock levels, check expiry dates, and prepare requisitions for replenishment.
  5. Assist in the compounding or reconstitution of medications under pharmacist supervision.
  6. Deliver medicines and supplies to nursing units and other hospital departments.
  7. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pharmacy and storage areas.
  8. Encode transactions, maintain patient medication profiles, and support documentation processes.
  9. Ensure compliance with hospital, DOH, and FDA regulations on drug handling and dispensing.
  10. Provide courteous assistance to hospital staff and patients while maintaining confidentiality.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must have Pharmacy Services NC III certification from TESDA.
  • Preferably a graduate of BS Pharmacy or related allied health course.
  • Experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy setting is an advantage.
  • Knowledgeable in drug classification, inventory, and dispensing procedures.
  • Computer literate; proficient in MS Office or hospital pharmacy systems.
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work under supervision.
