Role summary

Key responsibilities

  • Direct patient care

Medication safety and quality assurance

  • Report adverse drug reactions and medication errors.
  • Contribute to medication safety initiatives and committees.
  • Help develop and implement hospital medication policies and guidelines.
  • Evaluate drug use to improve prescribing practices.

Operational and administrative duties

  • Verify medication orders and oversee dispensing.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations regarding medication handling and storage.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Contribute to formulary management.

Education and professional development

  • Train pharmacy students and residents.
  • Provide education to hospital staff.
  • Pursue continuing education to maintain licensure and competency.

Required qualifications

  • Graduate of Clinical Pharmacy
  • Licensed Pharmacist with at least 2-3 years experience in the same field.
