Responsibilities
- Lead the financial risk-based assessment of company policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Develop, recommend, and implement continuous improvements that enhance control effectiveness, streamline processes, and mitigate risks
- Oversee and monitor the implementation and compliance of company policies and guidelines across all departments.
- Assist and/or witness physical counts of petty cash, revolving funds, fixed assets, and inventory, ensuring accuracy and accountability on behalf of the company principals
- Support reconciliation efforts and resolve discrepancies arising from physical counts, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure compliance and control
- Conduct periodic internal control reviews and assessments to ensure ongoing adherence to regulatory requirements and company standards
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management, highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and compliance awareness by training and advising staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Graduate of BS Accountancy
- Certified Public Accountant is required
- Experience in handling a team is an advantage
- With at least 3 years of experience in external audit or working closely with audit teams
- With strong understanding of financial controls, risk management, and compliance frameworks
- Experience in business process analysis and systems evaluation/improvement
- Willing to assign in Ugong, Pasig City
