What is the job?

The Finance Controller will oversee the financial planning, and compliance for our fast-growing e-commerce business.

Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end close (GL, bank recs, JEs) and prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financials for CEO

• Ensure NetSuite data integrity; serve as in-house expert; manage and optimize integrations (Amazon/Jitterbit)

• Manage audits, external reporting, and compliance; oversee sales tax (TaxJar) and CA/MX requirements

• Build 13/26-week cash-flow forecasts; lead budgeting/forecast updates; deliver models and cost analysis for decisions

• Oversee AR/AP and payroll (ADP); ensure timely receipts/disbursements; post payroll entries; support HR onboarding/admin

• Align with supply chain/merchandising on inventory planning; resolve discrepancies/settlements; run biweekly settlements

Qualifications:


• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive accounting or controller experience.

• At least three (3) years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.

• At least one (1) to two (2) years of hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central and NetSuite including inventory management, reporting, and system navigation.

• Works with Amazon Seller Central/online marketplace accounting; proficient in NetSuite (inventory, reporting, navigation), ADP payroll, and advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, complex formulas, forecasting).

• Applies strong U.S. sales tax compliance and expands to Canada/Mexico requirements.
