About the role

Our Company is seeking a talented and organized Logistics Officer to join our team on a 9-month contract basis. Based in our Las Pinas City office, this role will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient management and coordination of our supply chain operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Requests quotes and negotiating pricing with forwarders/brokers
  • Encoding and Updating of Incoming Deliveries
  • Process internal movement of goods
  • Outgoing products and invoicing based on customers delivery schedule
  • Coordination with warehouses on the pull-ins and pull-outs of stocks
  • Coordination with Operations Dept, Forwarders/Brokers and foreign counterparts on console or direct shipment schedules.
  • Compilation of Logistics documents.
  • Maintains filing of shipping documents for consolidation for yearly renewal of licenses and permits
  • Knowledge of Import/Export, PEZA and Freight processing is necessary.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's/College Degree, preferably in Customs or Business Administration courses or a related field
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Candidate with at least six (6) months experience in the same field will be an advantage.
  • Must possess good communication skills in English and can relate with foreign and local counterparts.
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint)
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles, transportation networks, and distribution processes
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and anticipate potential issues
  • Adaptable, Work-oriented, and resourceful person, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Open to multi-tasking and can work under pressure
