Job Summary:

The Licensed Social Worker Specialist is responsible for providing professional social work services, including case management, counseling, and community interventions, to address the welfare and psychosocial needs of individuals, families, and communities. The role ensures that services are delivered in line with the Social Work Code of Ethics and relevant government regulations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct case intake, assessment, and social diagnosis for individuals and families in need.
  • Develop and implement case intervention plans, including referrals, counseling, and resource mobilization.
  • Provide psychosocial support, crisis intervention, and rehabilitation services to vulnerable groups.
  • Coordinate with DSWD, LGUs, NGOs, and other stakeholders for program support and client services.
  • Implement community outreach programs, advocacy initiatives, and capacity-building activities.
  • Prepare, maintain, and safeguard case files, documentation, and compliance reports.
  • Monitor and evaluate the outcomes of interventions to ensure effectiveness and sustainability.
  • Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in all social work practices.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Social Work (Master's in Social Work is an advantage).
  • Must be a Licensed Social Worker (RSW) with a valid PRC license.
  • At least 2–3 years of relevant social work practice in government, NGO, school, hospital, or community setting.
  • Strong knowledge of social welfare policies, child protection laws, and related legislation.
  • Skills in counseling, case management, crisis intervention, and community organizing.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High empathy, integrity, and strong commitment to service.
