Job Summary

The Social Service Specialist supports the mission of LCC Foundation Inc. by implementing community development and social welfare programs, assisting beneficiaries, and ensuring effective delivery of services. The role involves case management, program coordination, and partnership-building to improve the quality of life of individuals and communities served by the Foundation.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct intake assessments and evaluate the needs of beneficiaries (e.g., education, health, livelihood, disaster response).
  • Develop and implement service plans aligned with the Foundation's programs.
  • Facilitate scholarship programs, community outreach, and social development projects.
  • Monitor and evaluate beneficiary progress through regular visits, documentation, and reporting.
  • Coordinate with schools, government agencies, partner NGOs, and community leaders for program implementation.
  • Provide counseling, guidance, and referrals to ensure beneficiaries access necessary resources.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of beneficiaries and program activities.
  • Assist in preparing reports, proposals, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in fundraising events, donor engagement activities, and other initiatives that support the Foundation's sustainability.
  • Uphold the values of compassion, integrity, and service excellence in all engagements.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Community Development, or related field.
  • Registered Social Worker (preferred)
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in social services, NGO work, or community development (internship/volunteer work may be considered).
  • Strong communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse groups, including children, youth, elderly, and marginalized communities.
  • Knowledge of local social welfare systems and community resources.
