The Sr. IT Business Analyst is tasked to deliver business solutions and process improvements that support the strategic corporate objectives by:

Strategy Setting

  1. Crafts and implements the digital transformation and development vision, strategy, and roadmap, while incorporating the industries' best practices and emerging trends. Also, maintains and regularly refreshes the strategy to align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

  2. Engages the business leaders to ensure that the goals, vision, and actions within the department are aligned with both short and long-term company strategies.

  3. Communicates to the senior management on all digital and system application matters within the organization.

Systems Administration

  1. Oversees the application development and maintenance. Manages application development projects and project risks, as well as the accomplishment of system service requests. Plans and organizes activities needed to implement a project; motivate, direct, and monitor staff and user activities to ensure project completion; execute and control project activities to ensure compliance to performance standards and agreed schedules; and perform risk identification and assessment. Reviews and approves any program changes before proceeding to production.

  2. Understands business requirements as documented on the service request and assigns the appropriate resource considering the existing workload, priority levels, and impact of system service requests.

  3. Oversees the compliance of staff to software development life cycle standards set by the Company, as well as conduct code reviews and provide guidance to staff to ensure programs are coded based on company coding standards.

  4. Improves the customer experience of current systems and identify opportunities for improvements.

Digital Transformation

  1. Sets specific digital objectives and monitor progress. Ensures the smooth operation for all digital tools and applications used by the Company.

  2. Creates and supports an environment of digital innovation and best practice, ensuring the use of technologies for the benefit of members and other stakeholders.

  3. Creates appropriate prioritization approach to develop a roadmap for innovation with the relevant processes, tools, and metrics to support business objectives and new growth opportunities.

Manages the team

  1. Ensures logistic requirements are provided to the team members.

  2. Conducts timely performance evaluation and keeps track of the performance of each team member.

  3. Mentors team members to value career and professional development

  4. Counsels team member to clarify and align performance with project objectives

  5. Recommends attendance to relevant training for team members

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Education: Must be a graduate of Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering
  2. Experience: Minimum 10 years work experience as an IT Professional/ Project Manager/ Business Analyst/Quality Assurance Analyst Background in Project Management (PM), ITIL, IT4IT, CMMI, Information Systems Security. Preferably a PMP, ITIL Certified, Certified Information Systems Security Professional, TOGAF Certification

  5. Strong cross-functional collaboration and Relationship Management.

  6. Creative and innovative with the ability to self-start and execute on program activities and objectives.

  7. Excellent analytical and technical skills.

  8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of staff and clients in a diverse environment.

  9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as persuasive presentation skills.

  10. Comfortable in working in ambiguous situations, flexible to handle a fast-paced environment and easily adaptable to a variety of management styles.

  11. Aptitude to succeed in a stressful and deadline-oriented environment.
