Digital Marketing Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to lead our paid media efforts, with a primary focus on Facebook Ads and Google Ads. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing our advertising strategies, exploring new platforms, and mentoring our current media buyer to elevate our team's performance. This role requires strong analytical skills to present data-driven insights directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Media Buying and Campaign Management
- Strategize, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns primarily on Facebook (Meta) and Google Ads.
- Search & DSAs, Performance Max, Youtube. Knowledge of basic SEO practices and how they relate to creating effective Google campaigns.
- Manage and allocate advertising budgets efficiently to maximize ROI and reduce Cost Per Acquisition (CPA).
- Explore and test new advertising platforms (e.g., TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube) for potential growth opportunities.
- Data Analysis and Reporting
- Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
- Prepare and present detailed performance reports, actionable insights, and strategic recommendations to the Digital Marketing Manager, Marketing Manager, and Chief Marketing Officer.
- Utilize analytics tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and other tools to track KPIs effectively.
- Mentorship and Team Development
- Mentor and train the current media buyer, sharing best practices, new techniques, and platform-specific strategies.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and data-driven decision-making within the marketing team.
- Optimization and Testing
- Develop and execute A/B tests to improve ad creatives, audience targeting, and bidding strategies.
- Provide support in strategic campaign/creative optimization and analysis
- Create tracking links and QA landing pages
- Stay updated with the latest trends, algorithm changes, and best practices in digital advertising.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Marketing, Communications
- With at least 2+ years of experience in media buying across paid media channels related working experience (Marketing Team)
- Proven track record of managing large ad budgets and improving CPA and ROI.
- Digital marketing tools include, but are not limited to, Meta Business and Ads Manager, Google Ads, Google Analytics, TikTok Ads Manager;
- Preferably have experience in Lazada Seller Center, Shopee Seller Center, and Shopee Brand Portal.
- Experience in mentoring or leading junior team members is a plus.
- Knowledge of media buying on emerging platforms (TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube) is a plus.
- Proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets with the ability to perform pivot tables and VLOOKUP's
- Experience in developing marketing materials, including landing pages and ads
- Creativity in creating ad creatives, email subject lines, headlines, and content.
- History of showing initiative and a solution-oriented perspective
