Accounts Payable Specialist (On-Site)
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the financial processing of transactions for Duties include daily transactional processing and coding, periodic financial reporting, including 1099 preparation, and the support of financial audits.
Responsibilities
- Managing accounts payable using NetSuite, Divvy, and
- Handling all vendor invoice coding and approval workflows
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors, including collection of information for new vendor setup
- Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures.
- Processing manual check requests and wires
- Processing vendor payments through vendor portals
- Investigates and resolves problems with vendor invoicing.
- Reconciling credit card transactions to receipts and recording in systems.
- Assisting with month end close by performing accounting duties such as
- GL account maintenance, recording journal entries for accruals and reconciling.
- Other projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Competency with productivity systems, for example, NetSuite, , Excel, and Excel.
- Basic data entry skills
- Comfortable with math and calculations
- Good listening and communication skills
- Attention to detail.
