We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist with at least 2 years of experience in managing vendor payments, expense reports, and financial transactions. The role requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process, verify, and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate posting of accounts payable transactions in the accounting system.
  • Manage vendor communications, respond to inquiries, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare and process weekly/monthly check runs, wire transfers, and electronic payments.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and ensure proper documentation for all payments.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes by providing accurate reports and reconciliations.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and within agreed terms.
  • Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions for audit purposes.
  • Support the finance team with ad hoc projects and process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable or similar finance function.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and internal team coordination.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
