About the role

As an Accounts Payable Specialist at Combined Electro-Mechanical Supply, Inc.', you will be responsible for processing and managing the company's accounts payable transactions. This full-time position is based in Taguig City Metro Manila and will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of the organization.

What you'll be doing

  1. Reviewing, verifying and processing invoices and expense reports to ensure accuracy and timely payment
  2. Reconciling vendor statements and resolving any discrepancies
  3. Maintaining detailed records and supporting documentation for all accounts payable transactions
  4. Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and providing information to the accounting team as needed
  5. Liaising with vendors and internal stakeholders to address any payment-related queries or concerns
  6. Adhering to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with financial regulations
  7. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to the enhancement of accounts payable systems and controls

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance/accounting role
  2. Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently maintain accurate records
  3. Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and vendors
  5. A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently to resolve issues
  6. Familiarity with accounts payable processes and compliance requirements within the Accounting industry
