JOB SUMMARY:

The Technical Specialist will be responsible for providing technical expertise, product knowledge, and site support for Fosroc construction chemical solutions. The role involves assisting clients, consultants, and contractors in the correct selection, application, and troubleshooting of Fosroc products, ensuring quality performance and customer satisfaction building long-lasting relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide technical support on Fosroc products (waterproofing, flooring, grouts, concrete admixtures, protective coatings, sealants, repair mortars, etc.).

  2. Conduct site inspections, product trials, and on-site demonstrations to ensure proper application methods and testings.

  3. Support the sales team with technical presentations, product recommendations, and specifications assistance.

  4. Prepare and deliver method statements, product data sheets, and application guidelines to consultants and contractors.

  5. Conduct training programs and seminars for applicators, engineers, and clients.

  6. Investigate and resolve site issues, failures, and customer complaints with technical solutions.

  7. Ensure product application is in compliance with manufacturer's standards and industry specifications.

  8. Provide feedback to the technical and R&D teams on market needs and product performance.

Qualifications and Skills

Educational Background

· Bachelor's Degree Graduate

· Preferably related courses in BS Civil Engineering, BS Chemical Engineering or other related field.

· Licensed Engineer is an advantage but not a must.

Years of Related Experience

· With at least three (2) years of relevant working experience as technical in construction chemicals, building materials or other related industry.

· Preferably exposure to construction, retail, commercial and government projects.

Required Knowledge, Competencies, Skills, Behavioral and Interpersonal Qualities

· Strong knowledge of concrete technology, waterproofing systems, repair mortars, protective coatings and other construction chemical products.

· Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams.

· Willingness to travel for site visits, product trials, and technical support.

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and AutoCad.

· Know how to analyze CAD drawings, technical specifications and other technical documents.

· Technically inclined with strong attention to detail.

· Customer-oriented and proactive in providing solutions.

· Flexible and adaptable to dynamic site conditions.

· Passionate about construction innovation and quality assurance.

· Must be highly motivated and can function independently and do multi-tasking;

· Non-compromising work standards with a strong sense of urgency and sense of crisis;

· Has initiative and is very resourceful.

· Eagerness to learn continuously accepts correction and constructive criticism;

· Can thrive under pressure.

· Must have a driver's license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php20,000.00 per month
