NOC Engineer

Key Responsibilities/Duties

• Monitoring network performance and identifying potential issues
• Troubleshooting network-related issues and working to resolve them in a timely manner
• Providing technical support to customers and other teams within the organization
• Managing and maintaining documentation for all network-related activities, including troubleshooting logs and knowledge base documents
• Collaborating with other team members and departments to resolve complex technical issues
• Escalating issues to senior team members as needed
• Participating in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support
• Keeping up to date with industry trends and best practices in network engineering
• Participating in training and professional development opportunities to improve your skills and knowledge
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements /Qualifications:

• Candidate must be a graduate of BS ECE, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or any other IT related courses
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on troubleshooting and supporting enterprise networks.
  • CCNA or equivalent certification in networking.
• Experience with Cisco networking technologies, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Experience with network monitoring tools, such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG.
• Experience with ticketing systems and incident management processes.
• Industry certifications, such as CCNA or CCNP, Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist (JNCIS), CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or similar are a plus.
• Vendor specific training such as Cisco, Juniper Networks, Huawei, and ZyXEL, or similar are required.
