Job Summary

A Junior Account Executive manages client relationships, drives revenue, and ensures guest satisfaction. This role involves sales activities, coordinating events, and providing exceptional customer service to attract and retain clients.

Responsibilities

  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries and providing information about the hotel/resort's services and amenities.
  • Sales Tasks: Prepare proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders (BEOs) and presentations for potential clients.
  • Event Coordination: Assist in the execution of events, conferences, and group bookings, ensuring all client needs are met.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event planners.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive offerings.
  • Guest Relations: Provide exceptional customer service to guests and address any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage client databases, prepare reports, and handle administrative tasks related to sales like preparing proposals and contracts for group bookings and events. and marketing activities.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct site inspections for potential clients, showcasing the resort's facilities and services.

Skills

  • With at least one (1) experience in the hospitality industry for the same role is highly preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Customer Service Skills: A strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sales Skills: Basic understanding of sales principles and techniques, with a willingness to learn and develop sales skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and industry partners.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and hotel management software.
