Job Summary:

The Production Assistant Supervisor is responsible for ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. The role involves monitoring staff performance, organizing workflow, and ensuring production targets are met in a safe, cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel, setting priorities, monitoring progress, and reporting shift production results.
  • Set daily, weekly, and monthly production objectives and communicate them to team members.
  • Schedule and prepare raw materials for production.
  • Check production output to ensure it meets quality and specification standards.
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
  • Train new employees on machine operations, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Oversee manufacturing and shipping processes to ensure proper procedures are followed.
  • Compile and analyze production performance data and generate reports as required.
  • Develop and implement improvements to systems, procedures, and operational practices.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with company standards.
  • Facilitate communication between management and employees to ensure clear understanding of company policies and objectives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a 4-year course in Business Management, Engineering, or any related field (college level acceptable).
  • At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or lead role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and leadership ability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong decision-making ability and a results-oriented mindset.
  • High ethical standards and professionalism.
