Position: Sr. Accounts Analyst/Sr. Onboarding Specialist

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Senior Onboarding Specialist who will play a key role in ensuring the smooth transition of new clients into our accounting and bookkeeping systems. You'll collaborate closely with Client Managers to manage onboarding processes, refine workflows, and ensure seamless handovers to the ongoing support team.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding of new clients.
  • Perform Xero conversions and set up month-end reporting packs.
  • Create and maintain detailed Procedure Notes and Schedules of Work.
  • Conduct system health checks to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Implement and document streamlined accounts processes.
  • Train and support Accounts Analysts during client transitions.

  • Handle ongoing bookkeeping tasks, including:

  • Accounts Receivable & Payable

  • Banking activities
  • Payroll processing
  • Monthly financial reporting
  • Compliance with GST, FBT, and PAYE regulations

Job Qualifications:

  • Degree in Bookkeeping or Accounting
  • At least 4 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably with SMEs
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a paperless and remote environment
  • CPA and/or Project Management experience

  • Prior experience in a BPO or offshore accounting setup

  • Familiarity with New Zealand SME accounting and taxation

  • Xero Certified and experience with Receipt Bank
  • Experience supporting remote clients
