The
Training Specialist
is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that equip Care Advocates and support teams with the knowledge and skills to deliver exceptional member experiences. The role focuses on developing training materials, facilitating engaging sessions, and ensuring alignment with healthcare compliance standards and organizational goals. This position supports ongoing learning through onboarding, refresher training, and targeted skill development.

Job Description


• Conducts training needs assessments in collaboration with Team Leaders and Quality Analysts to identify skill gaps and development areas.


• Designs and updates training materials, job aids, and learning modules aligned with compliance requirements and business priorities.


• Facilitates engaging training sessions (virtual or in-person) covering healthcare plan knowledge, call handling, compliance, and member support processes.


• Tracks and measures training effectiveness, making adjustments to improve knowledge retention and performance outcomes.


• Provides coaching and support to new hires during onboarding, nesting, or transition phases.


• Partners with operations and quality teams to ensure training reflects current policies, procedures, and member expectations.


• Monitors training participation and feedback, recommending continuous improvements in training programs.


• Maintains accurate documentation of training activities, evaluations, and learning progress.

Required Qualifications


• Demonstrates strong facilitation and communication skills with the ability to deliver training confidently.


• Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and healthcare/BPO processes.


• Adapt training delivery to diverse learning styles and organizational needs.


• Prepare training materials, tracking performance metrics, and using digital tools for training.


• Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives.


• Collaborative mindset with the ability to partner effectively with leadership, operations, and quality teams.

Screening Criteria


• Bachelor's degree in human resources, education, business administration, or a related field.


• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in training, learning & development, or healthcare/BPO coaching roles.


• Must have a stable employment history.
