About the role

LIFEBANK-A RURAL BANK seeks a talented New Accounts Clerk to join our team in Santa Barbara Iloilo. This full-time role is responsible for processing new customer account openings and maintaining accurate account records. As a key member of our Account & Relationship Management team, you will play a vital part in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our banking services.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist customers with the opening of new accounts, including gathering required documentation and verifying customer information
  2. Process new account applications and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner
  3. Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of all new account openings and related customer information
  4. Handle routine customer inquiries and requests related to new accounts
  5. Provide excellent customer service and support to promote a positive banking experience
  6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient account opening procedures
  7. Comply with all relevant banking regulations and internal policies

What we're looking for

  1. 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or financial services role, preferably in new account processing
  2. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately process and maintain detailed records
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide high-quality customer service
  4. Proficient in using banking software and computer systems
  5. Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements
  6. Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive work environment
