Affiliate & Operations Specialist

An Affiliate & Operations Specialist who will work directly with the client to streamline marketing operations, drive affiliate performance, and optimise your time. This is a hybrid role tailored for a fast-paced consultancy managing campaigns for some of Australia's largest retailers.

Role Overview

​This role combines affiliate marketing platform execution with strategic admin and operational support. The focus is on learning your systems and processes quickly, consolidating and simplifying your workflows, and enabling you to operate at a higher level by handling the day-to-day.

Core Responsibilities

Affiliate Program Execution

  • Manage affiliate accounts (Commission Factory, Rakuten, etc.) across multiple retailers
  • Perform monthly validations, voids, transaction approvals, affiliate approvals, and recruitment
  • Liaise with publishers, screen promotions, manage commissions, and update tracking systems
  • Create and analyse monthly performance reports using Sheets/Excel and ChatGPT for insights

Client Support & Admin Automation

  • Consolidate multiple Gmail and calendar accounts into one centralised suite
  • Screen and respond to emails, manage inbox rules, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks
  • Assist with invoicing, collections, and business ledger creation
  • Research and recommend accounting/payroll software (e.g. Xero, MYOB)
  • Build and maintain simple financial models for property portfolios and insurance records

Process & Time Optimisation

  • Identify automation opportunities using tools like ChatGPT and Asana
  • Proactively improve existing workflows and documentation
  • Research affiliate marketing trends and publisher directories to add value over time
  • Tools & Platforms

    ​Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Asana, ChatGPT, Commission Factory, Rakuten, Xero/MYOB (optional), Slack/WhatsApp (optional)

Security & Compliance

​The role includes access to sensitive client and financial data. All work is monitored and supported by Outposter's internal Information Security team, with systems including Teramind and Xcitium.
