Job Summary

  • He / She must timely source, procure, and deliver material and service requirements to end-users.
  • He / She will be the one to negotiate with vendors with the objective of minimizing project costs.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Review accuracy of Scope of Work, including timelines.
  2. Source project requirements for bidding.
  3. Evaluate bids and award contracts with end-users.
  4. Identify the right set of vendors for each requisition. 
  5. Timely issue purchase orders/job orders.
  6. Liaise with Vendor Management in end-to-end vendor support, including invoice settlement.
  7. Supports the implementation of vendor performance review and resolution of issues related to the implementation of agreements/contracts and in coordination with SCM's Systems and Standards, Vendor Management, and Contract Management teams.
  8. Use supply and service agreements/contracts for call off transactions.
  9. Ensure compliance with supply and service agreements/contracts.
  10. Establishes good relations with suppliers, vendors and subcontractors. 
  11. Implement the Service Level Agreement Targets managed through a scorecard.
  12. Perform other duties and responsibilities related to the foregoing and as may be assigned from time to time by the Procurement Manager and SCM Head.

Competencies

Skills Required:

• ERP Knowledge is an advantage

• Professional user of Microsoft Office

• Excellent communication and written skills

• Excellent command of English Language

• Extensive knowledge on products and services and purchasing policies and practices

• Good negotiation skills 

• Effective time management skills

• Result oriented and self-driven to meet deadlines

• Ability to assist others in the use of purchasing systems

• Must be able to effectively manage heavy workload under pressure to meet deadlines.  

Qualifications

'Educational Background:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (major in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical) or Architecture is preferred

• Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance with Accounting or related fields

Professional Experience:

• Work experience in Supply Chain/Procurement with focus on Procurement Operations management
