Role: Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist

Hours: 8am - 4pm Mountain Standard Time

Hourly Wage: $6 - $9 (Open to negotiation based on experience)

Lago is seeking a talented and motivated Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an integral part of our marketing department, you will be responsible for enhancing our online visibility and driving organic traffic to our website. In this role, you will develop and implement effective SEO strategies, conduct keyword research, and analyze performance data to improve search rankings. Your knowledge of search engine algorithms, trends, and best practices will be key to effectively optimizing our content and ensuring it reaches the right audience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of on-page and off-page SEO tactics, as well as technical SEO considerations. With a focus on continuous improvement, you will work collaboratively with content creators, web developers, and marketing professionals to ensure alignment with our overall business goals. Responsibilities

  • Execute SEO fulfillment tasks, including outreach and link-building with reputable publishers.
  • Implement on-page SEO updates such as metadata, internal linking, and keyword integration.
  • Collaborate with the content and web teams to apply SEO best practices to digital assets.
  • Track SEO deliverables and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Conduct keyword research as directed to support content development.
  • Maintain organized documentation of outreach and SEO fulfillment activities.
  • Other SEO duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in SEO fulfillment, especially in link-building and publisher outreach.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, and Google Business Profile.
  • Strong understanding of on-page SEO and content optimization best practices.
  • Excellent written communication skills for outreach and task execution.
  • Ability to follow established processes and meet project deadlines.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Additional Qualifications We'd Prefer:

  • Experience with Amazon SEO and marketplace optimization.
  • Familiarity with organic social media content strategy and posting.
  • Interest or experience in AI tools and implementation for SEO.
  • Background in content marketing or eCommerce fulfillment.
