As a Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing practices. Your attention to detail and analytical mindset will help us deliver exceptional user experiences across our .NET Core backends, ReactJS frontends, and React Native mobile applications. Working closely with the QA Lead, developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, you'll contribute to a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

A Little About You...

  • 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on manual testing.
  • Experience testing .NET Core backends, ReactJS frontends, and/or React Native mobile applications.
  • Strong understanding of API testing and data validation using SQL.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail) and documentation platforms (e.g., Confluence).
  • Knowledge of WCAG standards and accessibility testing is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of software development and QA processes.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence).
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how QA fits into the release cycle.

About the role...

  • Design and execute detailed test cases for backend, frontend, and mobile applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.
  • Validate data integrity and backend functionality using SQL queries.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or similar tools.
  • Work closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives as part of an Agile team.
  • Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design by supporting WCAG compliance testing.
  • Provide feedback on usability and user experience from a testing perspective.
  • Contribute to process improvements and help evolve the testing strategy.
  • Support knowledge sharing within the QA team and across departments.
