Mid Python Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Mid Python Engineer to join our dynamic team at HR Primo Management Services. As a Mid Python Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our cutting-edge software solutions, helping us stay at the forefront of the Information & Communication Technology industry. This is a full-time position based in Manila City, Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing

• Develop & Innovate: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable backend systems using Python, with a strong emphasis on data integrity and security.
• Build & Deploy: Implement efficient solutions using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI, ensuring seamless functionality and deploying them into production environments.
• Collaborate & Scale: Work closely with Product, Frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and extensible.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure high code quality by proactively identifying performance bottlenecks, debugging, and resolving issues to enhance user experience.
• Contribute & Grow: Participate in technical discussions, solution design, and code reviews to uphold engineering best practices and standards.
• Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers, share knowledge, and contribute to the technical growth of the development team.

What we're looking for

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Backend Development Experience: 4–5 years of hands-on experience building and deploying scalable, high-performance backend systems.
• Python Expertise: Strong proficiency in Python and frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy. Experience in asynchronous programming is a strong advantage.
• API Development: Proven experience in designing and building RESTful APIs. Familiarity with GraphQL and API documentation tools is a plus.
• Solution Design: Solid understanding of software design patterns and microservices architecture. Experience designing fault-tolerant, scalable systems.
• Database Skills: Proficient in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra) databases, including schema design, performance tuning, and query optimization.
• Cloud Experience: Practical knowledge of AWS (e.g., Lambda, EC2, ECS, S3, RDS). Experience with serverless architecture is a strong plus.
• Messaging Systems: Familiarity with message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS/SNS, or Kinesis.
• DevOps Tools: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Security Best Practices: Deep understanding of application security, including encryption, authentication, authorization, and common vulnerability protection.
• Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex systems efficiently.
• Performance Optimization: Ability to diagnose and resolve performance issues at both application and infrastructure levels.
• Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication skills; capable of working across teams and conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Agile Environment: Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Testing: Proficient in writing and executing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Continuous Learning: A growth mindset with a passion for staying current on new technologies and industry trends.
