About the Role

As a Mid-Level Mechanical Designer, you will be part of a collaborative engineering team delivering world-class data center facilities. Using Revit and BIM tools, you will design and coordinate mechanical systems that ensure reliability, energy efficiency, and compliance with international standards.


What You'll Do
  • Develop detailed 3D mechanical models and drawings in Revit for HVAC, piping, and cooling systems.
  • Translate engineering calculations (heat loads, airflow, equipment sizing) into accurate design outputs.
  • Coordinate with electrical, structural, and architectural teams in a BIM environment.
  • Ensure designs meet project requirements, industry codes, and sustainability best practices.
  • Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and resolve technical issues during construction.
  • Deliver design packages, shop drawings, and as-built documentation with high attention to detail.
What You Bring
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or equivalent.
  • 3–6 years of mechanical design experience, with at least 2 years on data center projects.
  • Expertise in Revit MEP and working knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with HVAC and data center cooling systems (CRAC, CRAH, chilled water, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of BIM coordination and multidisciplinary workflows.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to mission-critical designs.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or similar certification.
  • Experience with Navisworks, clash detection, and BIM coordination tools.
  • Knowledge of international data center standards (Uptime Institute, ASHRAE TC 9.9, BICSI).
  • Experience on large-scale or multinational projects.
