About the role

As the Investor Relations Officer at Manila Water Company, Inc., you will play a vital role in maintaining strong relationships with the company's investors and the financial community. In this full-time position based in Quezon City, Metro Manila, you will effectively communicate the company's financial performance, growth strategies, and future outlook to existing and potential investors.

What you'll be doing

Investor Profile and Mapping/Investor Targeting Plan

  • Prepares investor materials (e.g. presentations, releases, fact sheets) for use in investor events, investor conferences, and investor roadshows. Necessitates market and specific investor research, market background checks, and obtaining updates from various references and sources.

Investor Relations Stakeholder Database/ Investor Relations Data Book

  • Maintains the Investor Relations page on the enterprise website, reflecting latest enterprise business results and disclosures.
  • Assists the Investor Relations Head in managing relationships with fund managers, analysts, and the investing public

Quarterly Analysts' Briefing

  • Facilitates the preparations and staging of Quarterly Analysts' Briefing and ensures consistency of information reflected in the various references and releases
  • Obtains business and financial information from the various business units and support groups; ensures consistency with both internal and external disclosure requirements.

Daily Market Update/ Stock Market Report (daily)/ IR Reports and Updates to Management (quarterly)

  • Prepares the Daily Stock Market Report which exhibits market news, PSEi updates, performance of select industry and blue-chip stocks, and other relevant information
  • Maintains the Investor Relations page on the enterprise website, reflecting latest enterprise business results and disclosures.
  • Prepares materials and references for IR reports and updates to Management

Computation and Processing of Periodic Cash Dividends to Shareholders

  • Works with various teams to process/compute and disburse the corresponding cash dividends to investors/stockholders

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in investor relations, preferably within the banking and financial services industry or a publicly-traded company
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and compelling manner
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and understand its implications
  • Proficient in financial modeling, data analysis, and the use of various investor relations tools and platforms
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with the investment community, including institutional investors, analysts, and other stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
