The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering an exceptional customer experience across Plains & Prints and R.A.F. boutiques. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on management, guiding store managers and sales teams to consistently achieve sales targets, uphold brand standards, and provide superior customer service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Performance Management

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals across assigned boutiques.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales, conversion rates, average transaction value, and customer retention metrics.
  • Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to refine business strategies.
  • Identify growth opportunities and develop action plans to maximize store performance.

2. Store Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure operational excellence in all stores, aligning with company policies, brand standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and loss prevention initiatives.
  • Conduct regular store visits and operational audits to assess performance and compliance.
  • Implement and enforce visual merchandising standards to enhance brand presentation and the overall customer experience.

3. Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, motivate, and develop store managers and frontline sales teams to achieve consistent performance excellence.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and career progression programs for retail personnel.
  • Deliver coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to foster a culture of high achievement.
  • Facilitate ongoing training on product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer engagement.

4. Customer Experience & Brand Representation

  • Ensure all boutiques deliver a premium, brand-aligned shopping experience.
  • Address and resolve escalated customer concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and VM teams to execute in-store campaigns, promotions, and events that enhance brand engagement and drive traffic.
  • Champion a customer-first culture that promotes loyalty and long-term brand affinity.

5. Reporting & Strategic Planning

  • Prepare accurate sales reports, performance analyses, and business insights for senior leadership.
  • Manage store budgets, expenses, and cost controls to ensure profitability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Merchandising, and Operations teams to align initiatives and optimize overall business performance.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in retail sales or area management, preferably within fashion or lifestyle brands.

Leadership: Proven track record of leading multi-store operations and managing teams to achieve sales and service excellence.

Analytical Skills: Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and operational metrics.

Communication: Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer experience principles and luxury or premium retail environments.

Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail landscape with shifting priorities.

Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiar with POS and retail management systems.

Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently across assigned store locations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Php40,000.00 per month
