SITE ACQUISITION OFFICER (SAQ)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for the entire process of acquiring land or sites for projects, particularly for telecommunication towers. This involves identifying potential locations, conducting research and feasibility studies, negotiating with landowners for property leases, and securing necessary permits and taxes from local government units to ensure the project can proceed smoothly.

  • Site Identification and Research: Finding suitable locations that meet the technical and network coverage requirements for projects.
  • Landowner Negotiations: Engaging with property owners to discuss and finalize rental fees and other contractual terms for the property.
  • Permitting and Approvals: Managing the application process for building permits and other local government approvals needed for site construction.
  • Community Relations: Building relationships and ensuring social acceptability with local communities to facilitate the approval process.
  • Documentation and Taxes: Handling the application for Real Property Tax (RPT) and validating land ownership documents.

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Working closely with internal departments (like deployment, contract negotiation) and external partners to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Bachelor's degree in any course

  • With SAQ experience
  • With good communication skills
  • Knowledgeable in Government processes
