About the role

Philmetal Products, Inc. is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in Makati. As our Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the success of our construction projects by accurately estimating costs and preparing detailed bids. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the growth and development of our company.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting a thorough analysis of construction plans, specifications, and other project documents to identify all material, labour, and equipment requirements
  • Researching and compiling current pricing information for materials, labour, and equipment
  • Preparing detailed cost estimates and bid proposals that align with project scope and client requirements
  • Collaborating with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates
  • Maintaining a database of cost and pricing information to support future estimating efforts
  • Identifying potential cost-saving opportunities and providing recommendations to improve project profitability
  • Assisting with the preparation of project budgets and cash flow projections

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration
  • with experience minimum of 3 years on cost estimating and quantity surveying, exposure to metal building products industry is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
