Carmona Water District, a government-owned and controlled corporation (GOCC), is seeking a reliable and dedicated master electrician. The candidate will be hired as a Job Order and will receive an additional 20% premium pay on top of the contract salary.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Electrical System Oversight

  2. Supervise installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in pumping stations, treatment plants, reservoirs, and office facilities.

  3. Inspect, test, and certify electrical works for compliance with the Philippine Electrical Code (or applicable local code).

  4. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

  5. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for motors, pumps, control panels, generators, and other electrical equipment.

  6. Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime.

  7. Project & Team Supervision

  8. Lead and supervise electrician helpers and pump operators in daily tasks and projects.

  9. Provide technical guidance and ensure safe work practices.

  10. Safety & Compliance

  11. Ensure strict compliance with electrical safety standards, company policies, and government regulations.

  12. Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments before work begins.

  13. Documentation & Reporting

  14. Prepare reports on electrical issues, maintenance activities, and system improvements.

  15. Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and electrical load monitoring.

  16. Support for Operations

  17. Assist in energy efficiency projects to reduce the power consumption of water facilities.

Provide recommendations on system upgrades, replacements, and expansion works.
