The RMD Sales Support Services Supervisor supports the Assistant Manager for sales and support services in all aspects of purchasing, supplier management, and in supervising the activities of Sales Coordinators.

Job Description:

  1. Coordinates with the Assistant Manager in formulating and implementing strategies for the next three years covering maintenance of existing, expansion and development into new ones, of:

a. product range

b. choice of industries to cover

c. suppliers and agencies

d. customer development and selection in compliance with acceptable ethical standards and business practice

  1. Supervises her/his group in all aspects of Procurement, Importation, and Sales Administration.

  2. Recommends to Finance Department credit limits and payment terms with clients.

  3. Keeps Assistant Manager informed of the following:

a. New suppliers' offers to work with us for the Philippines.

b. New competition and their agents

c. New agents for old competition

d. Forthcoming Foreign Visitors on a monthly basis

e. Forthcoming Online Bidding

  1. Ensures that the items sold in her/his group are covered with all the necessary permits and maintains their validity through proper monitoring with BU Regulatory.

Qualifications:

  • College Graduate of any business course.
  • At least 5 years experience in import/export procedures.
  • Good in oral and written English, and must know how to compose business correspondence.
  • Can work with minimal supervision.
  • Mature, independent, hardworking and team worker.
  • Interrelates with management and foreign visitors with the same ease as with clients.
  • Computer literate in MS Windows, MacOS, and MS Office package or equivalent
  • Capability/Potential for acquiring higher responsibilities.
