Job Description:

The Sector Planner (Multi-Sector) will be responsible for leading the planning and development of strategies across multiple infrastructure sectors. The role involves assessing future demand, forecasting facility and service requirements, and formulating corresponding operational and technical specifications to ensure efficiency and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sectoral studies and demand analyses to determine future facility and service requirements.
  • Develop planning frameworks, operational requirements, and performance standards across various sectors (e.g., transport, utilities, social infrastructure).
  • Coordinate with technical teams, engineers, and planners to integrate sectoral inputs into master plans and feasibility studies.
  • Review and validate planning assumptions, data projections, and technical specifications.
  • Prepare comprehensive sector planning reports and presentations for stakeholders and clients.
  • Support multi-sector integration and ensure alignment with overall project objectives and sustainability goals.
  • Provide technical input in project development stages, from concept to detailed design and implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any Engineering or Architectural course.
  • Master's degree in Planning or related discipline is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in sector planning.
  • Experience in forecasting facility requirements based on projected demand.
  • Proven ability to develop operational requirements, performance standards, and technical specifications.
  • Experience in multi-sector infrastructure projects is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, coordination, and report-writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
