We are now seeking a strategic, analytical, and detail-oriented Supply Chain Planner to elevate our planning processes and support long-term scalability. The Role in Action As a Supply Chain Planner at Starbond, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our supply chain. You’ll lead the development of data-driven forecasts , resilient supply plans , and production schedules that ensure optimal product availability across Amazon, B2B, and Shopify channels. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Finance, and Operations to align planning efforts with market trends, growth initiatives, and company goals. Your success will depend on your ability to synthesize complex data , anticipate risks , and leverage AI tools to enhance forecasting accuracy and operational agility. This role is ideal for a humble, disciplined, and tech-savvy problem solver who thrives on continuous learning, brings a long-term strategic mindset, and has a passion for transforming the supply chain through analytics and automation. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Demand Planning Develop data-driven, forward-looking demand forecasts that support long-term business growth and strategic initiatives. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to align forecasts with product launches, marketing campaigns, and expansion plans. Integrate external data such as market intelligence, competitor analysis, and macroeconomic trends to anticipate demand shifts. Continuously refine forecasts using AI-enhanced tools and scenario modeling to support agile decision-making. Proactive Supply Planning & Risk Management Design and maintain strategic supply plans that balance inventory investment, service levels, and operational efficiency across all channels. Conduct risk assessments on supplier performance, logistics challenges, and global factors; develop mitigation strategies such as secondary sourcing and safety stock optimization. Collaborate with Procurement and Operations to strengthen supplier partnerships and improve lead times, cost efficiency, and flexibility. Ensure network-wide inventory optimization and effective stock allocation using data and AI-supported insights. Production Planning with a Long-Term Lens Translate demand forecasts into production schedules that maximize efficiency and capacity utilization. Collaborate with Operations and Manufacturing to proactively address bottlenecks and scalability challenges. Support make-versus-buy analysis and long-term capacity planning to enable new product introductions and growth initiatives. Advanced Analytics, Reporting & AI Enablement Deliver actionable insights through predictive analytics , trend analysis, and AI-driven modeling to guide executive decision-making. Track and improve KPIs such as forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, working capital efficiency, and service levels . Leverage digital and AI tools to automate repetitive processes, enhance forecasting precision, and drive continuous improvement. Strategic Mindset & Continuous Improvement Act as a thought partner to leadership, contributing to long-term supply chain strategy and digital transformation initiatives. Identify opportunities for process standardization, automation, and AI-driven decision support . Exhibit humility, diligence, and precision in every task—ensuring that plans, data, and communications reflect the highest standards of accuracy and care. Stay current on emerging supply chain trends and AI technologies to create a competitive advantage for Starbond. Qualifications: Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA is a plus). 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, or production planning, preferably in a multi-channel (e.g., Amazon, B2B, Shopify) or FMCG environment. Technical & Analytical Skills Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights. Proficiency in ERP systems, Excel, and data visualization tools. Experience with predictive analytics, AI-driven forecasting tools, or inventory optimization software is a plus. Strong attention to detail and due diligence in data validation and reporting. Mindset & Attributes Humble, curious, and improvement-driven — embraces feedback and continuous learning.
