About the role

RD Balderas Builders' is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to take the lead on our construction projects. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of construction projects
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery
  • Monitor and control project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project completion
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to the project, and implement appropriate risk management strategies
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide regular progress reports to senior management
  • Mentor and guide the project team to support their professional development

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar project management role within the construction industry
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects from start to finish
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project management best practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in project management software and tools
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • A collaborative and problem-solving mindset
