Job Qualifications
Educational Background
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology, or any related field.
  • Licensed Mechanical Engineer is an advantage but not required.
Experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in mold design engineering, preferably in a Mold Fabrication or Plastic Injection Manufacturing company.
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in 2D/3D CAD software (NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of mold components, tool steel materials, mold bases, and machining processes.
  • Knowledgeable in mold flow analysis, GD&T, and injection mold troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly).
Soft Skills
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Other Requirements
  • Willing to work onsite and collaborate closely with shopfloor and production teams.
