About the role

Microtop Philippines, Inc. is seeking a skilled NPI (New Product Introduction) Engineer to join our dynamic team in Laguna Technopark, Binan City, Laguna. As an NPI Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and launch of new products, ensuring a seamless transition from design to production. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams to oversee the introduction of new products and processes
  • Develop and implement NPI plans and processes to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality-driven product launches
  • Identify and resolve production and quality issues during the NPI phase, implementing corrective and preventive actions
  • Conduct design reviews, process validations, and product qualifications to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and customer requirements
  • Provide technical support and training to manufacturing teams to ensure successful product ramp-up and production
  • Continuously improve NPI processes and documentation to enhance efficiency and reduce time-to-market

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical) or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar NPI Engineer or Project Engineer role, preferably in the electronics or manufacturing industry
  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycle, manufacturing processes, and quality management systems
  • Proficient in project management, problem-solving, and root cause analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
