Position Summary

The Head of Asset Management will be responsible for overseeing the performance, operations, and lifecycle management of the company's renewable energy assets in the Philippines. This role requires a strong technical and commercial understanding of solar and BESS assets, with the leadership skills to build and manage a high-performing team that maximizes returns while ensuring compliance, safety, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead asset management strategy and execution for the company's operational solar and BESS portfolio.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, O&M performance, and service provider management to ensure optimal plant availability and efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze technical and financial performance of assets, identifying opportunities to enhance output and returns.
  • Manage contracts, including PPAs, O&M agreements, land leases, and insurance.
  • Develop and implement risk management frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and health & safety standards.
  • Collaborate with finance teams on budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for operational assets.
  • Provide accurate performance reports and insights to senior management and investors.
  • Stay informed on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and technological developments relevant to asset performance.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the asset management team to support company growth.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy, Finance, or related discipline; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in asset management, operations, or technical management within the renewable energy or power sector.
  • Strong knowledge of solar PV, BESS, and related technologies.
  • Proven track record in managing operational renewable assets in the Philippines or Southeast Asia.
  • Experience in contract management, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret performance data and optimize returns.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
