LITIGATION RECORDS OFFICER (ENTRY-LEVEL)

Salary Offer: ₱20, plus firm standards benefits as applicable)

Location: Sangalang & Gaerlan, Business Lawyers, Philam, QC (on-site)

Position Summary:

The Litigation Records Officer is responsible for maintaining, organizing, and digitizing all litigation records, pleadings, and case-related documents of the firm. The role ensures proper documentation, accessibility, and confidentiality of files in support of the Litigation Team's operations. The position reports directly to the Litigation Head, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to other partners for specific projects.

Key Responsibilities:


• Maintain, update, and secure both physical and digital litigation files.


• Perform scanning and digitization of pleadings, case documents, and correspondence.


• Ensure accurate filing, retrieval, and archiving of case records.


• Record and monitor all incoming and outgoing pleadings, motions, and case materials.


• Prepare records summaries, case indexes, and inventory lists.


• Coordinate with the Litigation Team for file requests and case updates.


• Safeguard confidentiality and integrity of all case records.


• Perform minimal liaison or out-of-office duties only when extremely necessary (e.g., filing pleadings, securing certified copies).


• Undertake other documentation or records-related tasks as may be assigned by the Litigation Head.

Qualifications:


• Graduate of any four-year course, or non-degree holder with relevant experience in records management or office administration.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic digital filing systems.


• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and trustworthy.


• Willing to handle repetitive yet critical document-handling tasks.


• Preferably NOT law student / working student. Law School drop-outs are highly encouraged to apply.

Work Arrangement:


• Primarily office-based, regular working hours.


• Occasional extended hours during urgent filing or submission deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits:


• about ₱20,000.00 monthly salary (plus standard firm benefits).


• For non-degree applicants: minimum wage rate (plus benefits).


• Inclusive of government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) and firm-provided allowances or incentives as applicable.

Reporting Line:

Reports directly to the Litigation Head and coordinates with other partners as required.
