The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a full-time Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you'll work directly with one of our company directors and play a vital part in supporting our clients by delivering accurate, insightful, and compliant financial services. We are looking for someone proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented—someone who asks the right questions and can thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform end-to-end accounting functions with precision and attention to detail
  • Ensure financial compliance and accuracy in all reporting and documentation
  • Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and company leadership
  • Contribute to process improvements and adoption of new tools or systems

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Background in Research & Development accounting is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data at a high level
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Xero is an advantage
  • Previous experience in audit and/or financial reporting is a plus
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Reliable internet connection (minimum of 30 Mbps; must support video conferencing via Skype)
