BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (with Public-Private Partnership Experience)
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Identify, source, and own the acquisition opportunity pipeline in order to help with the Project deliverables
2. Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential opportunities. Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets
3. Support the assessment, strategy development, planning and implementation of new business initiatives and other strategic efforts (including Mergers and acquisitions, Partnerships and PPP Solicited/Unsolicited Proposals)
4. Develop financial models and presentation materials to be presented to Senior Management
5. Work with relevant business and functional internal stakeholders on Corporate Development/M&A activity, including Commercial, Financial, Technical and Legal due diligence
6. Prepare all Business Development related documents such as Non-Disclosure Agreements, Letters of Intent, and MOUs
7. Monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify potential Business Development leads
8. Manage relationships with key external stakeholders, including Competitors, Suppliers, Contractors and Local Government Agencies.
9. Consistently tracks the development of strategies and their performance in order to achieve organizational goals and objectives
10. Other tasks that may be required
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Graduate of Accountancy, Finance or any Business-related course.
WORK EXPERIENCE
At least five years relevant work experience
With Public-Private Partnership experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
1. Computer literate (Microsoft Office) with the ability to learn new software applications.
2. Financial Modeling, Corporate Valuation, M&A Modelling
3. Proficiency in verbal and written communication especially in coordinating with government and private organization officials.
4. Ability to initiate required innovations and lead the group to its implementation.
5. Presentation skills

- Capable of leading the team in the realization of corporate objectives, goals and values.

WORKING CONDITIONS and OCCUPATIONAL HAZARDS
1. Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
- Occupation will require frequent project site inspection and occasional visit at busy and dangerous roads / areas, high rise or deep vertical facilities where projects are located. Coordination meetings / plant visits with project stakeholders outside Maynilad Office.
- Work may require occasional overnight / weekend / evening travels
