About Us

RCB Design & Build is a London-based Principal Contractor delivering residential, commercial, and bespoke construction projects from start to finish. We handle everything from design and planning to compliance, project management, and build execution.

We are now expanding our estimating team and looking for a motivated individual who can prepare professional estimates using HBXL software.

Role Overview

As an Estimator, you will:

  • Prepare detailed and accurate estimates using HBXL software.
  • Review drawings, plans, and specifications to extract quantities and costs.
  • Work closely with our team to ensure estimates are clear, competitive, and aligned with project scope.
  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently.

Requirements

  • Strong written and spoken English (clear, professional communication is essential).
  • Experience in preparing estimates within the construction sector.
  • Proficiency with HBXL estimating software (mandatory).
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Reliable and committed to delivering high-quality outputs.

Compensation

  • This is a full-time role, but payment is per project/estimate, not per hour.
  • Competitive per-estimate rates, with ongoing work and the opportunity to grow within a well-established UK contractor.
