Bookkeeper with Quickbooks desktop

We are looking for a Bookkeeper with QuickBooks Desktop experience. He/she will be responsible for managing the financial records of a company using the QuickBooks Desktop software. The role involves handling accounting transactions, reconciling accounts, and producing financial reports to ensure accurate financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accounting and Record-Keeping:

  2. Maintain and update financial records, including transactions, ledgers, and journals in QuickBooks Desktop.

  3. Record daily financial activities, such as sales, expenses, and payroll entries.

  4. Accounts Payable and Receivable:

  5. Process and record vendor bills and ensure timely payments.

  6. Generate and send invoices to clients, and follow up on outstanding payments.

  7. Reconciliation:

  8. Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts with QuickBooks records.

  9. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in account balances.

  10. Financial Reporting:

  11. Generate financial statements, including profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

  12. Prepare detailed reports for management and tax preparation.

  13. Tax and Compliance Support:

  14. Organize and maintain tax-related documents for easy access during audits or filings.

  15. Collaborate with external accountants or auditors to ensure compliance with regulations.

  16. Software Management:

  17. Ensure QuickBooks Desktop is updated and customized to meet the company's specific accounting needs.

  18. Backup financial data and ensure security protocols are followed.

  19. General Administrative Tasks:

  20. Handle administrative tasks related to financial documentation, such as filing and organizing receipts.

  21. Provide support for budgeting and forecasting activities.
Requirements

  • bookkeeping experience.

  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Desktop is required

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant office software.
