Property Accountant - Onsite/Nightshift

We are seeking a Property Accountant who is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to grow in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This role offers a clear career path toward Property Accounting Manager through our leadership program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review monthly financial statements and make adjustments for assigned properties.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations for month-end close.
  • Manage bank reconciliations and ensure accurate cash activity recording.
  • Build reporting infrastructure using NetSuite (or similar ERP).
  • Support property management and construction teams with accurate reporting.
  • Maintain fixed asset records and prepare roll forwards.
  • Assist with investor contributions/distributions and debt service payments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of full-cycle accounting experience (GL, AR/AP, journal entries, month-end close).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office 365.
  • ERP experience (NetSuite preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills.
